LIGNOFIBRE®

LIGNOFIBRE®, with the quality guarantee offered by the RAL seal, is now available in 4 qualities:

LIGNOFIBRE®, natural and with a medium-coarse structure.

LIGNOFIBRE®c, colored and with a medium structure.

Both products can be used in any potted and/or container substrate.

LIGNOFIBRE®c Xtrafine+ with extra fine structure.

LIGNOFIBRE® Coarse that now completes the range.

At the end of 2021, Gramoflor launched LIGNOFIBRE®c Xtrafine+ on the market, a new wood fiber with a superfine structure, which allows it to be used in superfine and fine substrates, for example, in trays in horticultural seedbeds.

In addition, it can be used in all growing and propagation substrates, and is especially suitable for small pots between 0.5 l and 3 l.

Its handling in the seeding lines is easier compared to its predecessor.

At the beginning of 2022, due to the instability of markets, transportation and raw materials, Gramoflor innovated again by introducing LIGNOFIBRE® Coarse.

Thanks to the tireless interdepartmental efforts of R&D, sales, technical advice and production, it has been possible to make a new thick wood fiber available to customers as an additional substitute for peat.

In this way, Gramoflor takes a big step forward in its strategy of replacing peat with alternative raw materials.

LIGNOFIBRE® Coarse can be used for thick substrates and therefore for larger pots and containers. Gramoflor has reproduced the structural properties of coarse blonde peat, making LIGNOFIBRE® Coarse a suitable alternative for it, and favors structural stability in thicker substrates.

Since LIGNOFIBRE® is manufactured from a renewable and also domestic raw material, the CO2 balance of a substrate can be significantly improved with its use. The higher the wood fiber content, the greater the CO2 savings, which in turn benefits our environment.
